Some of you may recall the visit we had a couple of years back from Bethel Steele, Boston-area singer-songwriter extraordinaire and all-around wonderful human. She blew us all away with her striking guitar technique, her sultry voice, and her powerful songs. Bethel will be swinging through town after Kerrville in a couple of months. I’ll be opening for her. On the patio at Java Monkey, my favorite hangout for coffee, beer, wine, sammitches, cool people, and Southern Sweets (yeehaw!) desserts.
